Welcome to the world of Oranim Educational Initiatives' summer 2005 programs. Oranim Educational Initiatives is the leader in Jewish Educational travel worldwide.

This summer, Oranim is offering a variety of interesting and fun programs for teens aged 14-18, to Israel, Europe and Israel and a European Extravaganza. Our multifaceted programs will allow the participant to have an educational, inspirational and entertaining experience!

Since 1986 we have been taking participants in our programs to unique destinations in Israel and around the world. The programs we offer are geared to go beyond a basic tour: we look at the world as our classroom. By using innovative, interactive methods, we discover the stories, the morals, the meanings that lie below the surface.

At the same time we take extra pride in the wide range of activities we offer during the trips: swimming, hiking, treasure hunts, kayaking, singing Israeli and Jewish songs, sports, amusement parks, rappelling, games and other activities – making sure the participants have a great summer.

As part of Oranim’s tours to all of our exciting destinations, emphasis is placed on the Jewish experience. Our Tour Educators make sure to add Jewish content. We put extra efforts to elevate Jewish Identity and enhance the Shabbat atmosphere. Shabbat observance is respected by all and includes services appropriate to the nature of the group. When possible, a stroll to the neighborhood synagogue is incorporated into the morning program. Kosher food, with rabbinical supervision is provided on all Israel programs and for some of our European programs as well. All programs offer vegetarian options, when requested in advance.
