Monday, July 09, 2012 - Welcome Home
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport (7:30AM) and meet your Tour Educator
Drive to Neot Kedumim, the biblical reserve for breakfast, a tour and tree planting.
Drive north to Tiberias, check in the hotel and in the early afternoon drive to Deganya chocolate factory followed by late afternoon cruise across the Sea of Galilee

Tuesday, July 10, 2012 – Northern Exposure
In the morning listen to the Message, with Shlomo (Momo) Lifshitz, former president of Oranim Educational Initiatives.
Ascend the Golan Heights and drive to the Mount Bental viewpoint and view deep into Syria and the Ghost Town of Kuneitra.
Hike one of the Jordan River tributaries, Dan, Snir or Hermon, see Israel green, and wet-even in the summer.
Head to Manara Cliffs and ascend the cliff by cable car and take in the magnificent view.
Then enjoy a Zip lining adventure on your way down.

Wednesday, July 11, 2012 - Ascent
Start the day in Zfat, city of mystical Judaism (Kabbalah). Explore the narrow alleyways lined with ancient
synagogues and artists' galleries. Continue the day enjoying a Kayaking adventure down the Jordan River, an
adventure park and Zip-line.
Ascend to Jerusalem and pause at a vantage point overlooking the city to say Shehehianu
In the evening: meet with Yael Eckstein, representative of IFCJ.
End the day with a unique tour of the Western Wall Tunnels (pending confirmation).

Thursday, July 12, 2012 - The City of David
Start the day walking the Old City Ramparts from the Jaffa to Zion Gates.
Visit Mt Zion and the Tomb of King David, founder of Jerusalem.
Enter the Old City through Zion Gate as Jewish Warriors have done for generations.
Take in some highlights of the Jewish Quarter such as the Cardo and the Broad Wall (First Temple period) and
then explore the City of David, where it all began. Enjoy a wet walk through Hezekiah Tunnel, dug in biblical
times.
In the evening meet with a speaker (Doron Kornbluth, Representative of PM office) and have a preparation session before Mifgash.

Friday, July 13, 2012 - Jerusalem Hills and Welcome the Shabbat
Start the day with a short hike to the Sataf Springs to learn about Biblical Mountain Agriculture
See the Jerusalemites prepare for Shabbat with a visit to the colorful Machne Yehuda Market - a riot of
sounds and smells, from fruit to Arab coffee to flowers to spices to fresh Challah being baked for Shabbat
After a traditional Shabbat Dinner join thousands of Jewish People of all ages and backgrounds as they head to the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest place to welcome the Shabbat.

Saturday, July 14, 2012 - Shabbat Jerusalem Style
Optional Shabbat Services at the hotel and discussion on Parashat Hashavua:

After group presentation and Dvar Torah, enjoy a Shabbat leisure walk (Oneg Shabbat) to the Israel Museum
to see the model of Jerusalem from the Second Temple period and the Dead Sea Scrolls, housed in the
dramatic Shrine of the Book. Afternoon spend some time at leisure in the hotel's pool OR drive to the sandy
beaches of Tel Aviv.

Sunday, July 15, 2012 - Discovering Hidden Secrets
Depart Jerusalem to Machon Ayalon, a secret Hagana munitions plant and meet your Israeli peers, engage in
ice-breaking activities,
After Lunch continue with a hands-on archeological experience at Beit Guvrin and on deep to the desert for a
camel ride followed by a Bedouin Hafla (feast).
In the evening enjoy the Drummers' Circle and more fun!

Monday, July 16, 2012 - Massada Rocks!
Start the day by climbing Massada for a spectacular sunrise. The palatial fortress is known as the last
independent Jewish territory from the destruction of the second Temple to the rebirth of the modern State of
Israel. Stop for lunch and swim (float) in the Dead Sea.
Drive via the Judea Desert to the Jerusalem Hills

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 - Creating the State
In the morning, tour Neve zedek and old Jaffa. After lunch "join" a Palmach unit at the fabulous multi-media
Palmach Museum (Beit Hapalmach – pending confirmation) to trace the events that led to the founding of the state.
Relive history as you gather at Independence Hall where David Ben Gurion Proclaimed Israel's Independence.
Enjoy a short city tour of Tel Aviv, pause at Rabin Square to reflect and talk about peace and remember.
Enjoy Nahalat Binyamin Pedestrian-Shopping Street and trendy Shenkin Street
Drive to your Israeli Peers home town and enjoy a relaxing evening and dinner with their families

Wednesday, July 18, 2012 - Mediterranean Shores
Drive north along the Mediterranean coast to Atlit, the British detention camp where "illegal" Jewish
immigrants were held.
Visit the Druze Village of Ossafiyah for lunch and home hospitality.
Continue to the ancient Herodian harbor city of Caesarea to explore the unique aqueduct, the Roman theater
and the hippodrome.
In the afternoon participate in a program how to become young ambassadors
Say Shalom and Lehitraot to your Israeli peers as they return to their homes.

Thursday, July 19, 2012 - Remembrance, Return and Farewell
Start the day meeting Natan Sheransky, Chairman of the Jewish Agency Executive (pending confirmation).
Continue and visit Mount Herzl and visit the gravesites of Herzl, Golda Meir, Yitzhak Rabin and other Zionist
luminaries as well as the graves of fallen Israeli soldiers.
Head to Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. Experience the museum, the Children's Memorial, the Valley of the
Communities, and the Boulevard of the Righteous Among the Nations.
Return to the old city for a farewell visit to the Western Wall
