Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport (7:05AM) and meet your Tour Educator
Ascend to Jerusalem.
Drive to Mount Scopus say Sheheyanu and view the city of Jerusalem from this vantage point.
Hear the story of the Israeli enclave from 1948-1967.
Stand in silence together with millions of Israelis as the Holocaust Memorial Siren for the 6 million martyred Jews sounds at 10:00 AM.
Follow the Seam Line and drive to Mount Zion to visit King David's Tomb, founder of the City of Peace.
Enter the Old City and descend the Western Hill to tour the City of David; walk through the famous water tunnel built by King Hezekiah nearly 3000 years ago.

Ascend to Jerusalem.

Start the day with a visit to David Citadel museum at Jaffa Gate to understand how the city of Jerusalem developed throughout the ages. View the Old city from top of Phazael Tower vantage point. See the model of Jerusalem as it was in the 2nd Temple period.
Continue to Jaffa Gate and walk the Old City Wall Promenade to Zion Gate.
Visit the Old City, entering the Jewish Quarter through the Zion Gate like generations of Jewish Warriors in the past. Explore the Jewish Quarter taking in highlights such as the Cardo, the Broad Wall (First Temple period), the Burned House and the Southern Wall excavations.
End the day with a walk through the western wall tunnels that stretch under the Old City (pending confirmation)

Start the day with a visit and a program in memory of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust at the newly designed Yad Vashem
Visit Mount Herzl, the site of the state of the art Herzl museum (pending confirmation) and military cemetery. Visit the final resting sites of Herzl, Rabin and other Israeli dignitaries along with the graves of Israel's soldiers and learn how the Jewish State honors their fallen.

Depart Jerusalem and drive to Raanana for a visit and program with friends at Beit Issei Shapiro.
Continue to Tel Aviv to visit the Hall of Independence, where the new State of Israel was born.
Enjoy a short city tour, pause at Rabin Square to reflect on the memory of the fallen Prime Minister.
Explore the cobblestone alleyways and artists' galleries of the ancient port of Jaffa. Hear tales of Napoleon, Andromeda and Jonah and his whale, as well as other famous visitors.
Enjoy some free time at the beach and ascend to Haifa.
View the beautiful port city of Haifa including the unique Bahai Gardens from atop Mt. Carmel
Descend to the city's port for an evening ceremony at the Haifa Naval Base ushering in Memorial Day for Israel's fallen.

Monday, April 23, 2007 Yom HaZicharon and Erev Yom Ha'atzmaut
Depart Haifa and drive to Or Akiva. After a short ice-breaking activity participate in Yom HaZicharon Program with Or Akiva peers. Hear the sirens sound in memory of the fallen Israelis during Israel's numerous battles.
Following the ceremony and together with Or Akiva peers, visit the Druze Village of Ossafia for lunch and to learn about this unique ethnic group.
After lunch visit the site of Atlit British Prison Camp where "illegal" Jewish immigrants were kept after trying to enter Israel.
Hike up the Carmel Mountain following the Atlit prisoners escape route and visit the Pre-Historic cave of Ha'Etzba.
Return to Or Akiva and participate in Erev Yom Ha'atzmaut Festivities

Start the day in Tzfat – City of Mystical Judaism (Kabbalah). Explore the narrow alleyways lined with ancient synagogues and artists' galleries. Visit the candle factory
Descend from Tzfat to the Jordan Valley for a Kayaking experience on one of Jordan River's tributaries and for a water hike.
Ascend the Golan Heights visit the Talmudic Synagogue in Katzrin (8th Century) and view deep into Syria and on the Ghost Town of Kuneitra from Mount Bental.
