Dear Teachers to Israel (T2I) 2008,

Welcome to the Robert I. Lappin Teachers to Israel Adventure (T2I)! Plans are underway to make this T2I experience the trip of a lifetime. We are counting on you to bring the love of Israel back to your classes, and to inspire your students and their families to make connections to our homeland and to our family-the Jewish people.

We are sure that your journey "home" to Israel will enhance your feeling of Jewish pride. Within days of arriving in Israel, you will see what a special and unique country Israel is--a shining star to the world, a light unto the nations. Israel is a country of progress, whose talented and caring people make Israel a country unlike any other. Israel is our homeland, and we are excited to take you home for a visit.

As part of T2I 2008, you are participating on the third Lappin Foundation sponsored trip for Jewish educators. What is unique about this T2I experience is that Jewish educators from the North Shore of Massachusetts will be joined by a group of Jewish educators from Western Massachusetts and Cape Cod, thanks to a matching grant program of the Lappin Foundation, Oranim Educational Initiatives the Jewish Federation of Cape Cod and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.
