SUGGESTED PACKING LIST
The weather in Israel will be a warm Summer . The temperature can be as high as in the 80s-90s and above in the summer. Utilize the internet to keep updated with the weather in Poland and Israel. Please bring enough clothes for the entire trip, laundry can be available during the program in Israel, details to follow.
Here are some recommendations:
WOMEN: Long skirt for holy sites (pants are acceptable)
MEN: Kepah
Short-sleeved shirts
Sweater/sweatshirt
Jeans/Khakis
Pants (athletic-type for outdoor activities)
Outfit that can get dirty (for archaeological dig)
Bathing Suit
Shorts
Nice outfit for Shabbat and going out
Socks (About 10 pairs)
Underwear (about 10 pairs)
Comfortable walking/hiking shoes
Water sandals (shoes you don't mind getting wet) - not flip-flops (must be shoe with strap around back of ankle, e.g. Tevas)
Hat (must)
Alarm clock ( Optional)
Electrical current adapter (from 110 U.S to 220 Europe) (for hair dryer, shaver, etc.)

* Linens and pillows will be provided at accommodation sites
* Sleeping bags and mattresses will be provided at Bedouin tent
$$$ - Suggested amount of spending money: $200-300 USD should be sufficient. ATM cards and credit cards are generally accepted in Israel, and provide good exchange rates. Traveler's checks may also be used.
