Depart the US on your overnight flight to Poland

Tuesday, June 3, 2008
Welcome to Poland
Arrive in Warsaw visit the Jewish Cemetery, Ghetto wall and Korczak House. After checking in, we go for Dinner and walking tour in the old town.
Overnight: Warsaw

Wednesday June 4, 2008
Depart to Lublin to visit Majdanek death camp and ceremony.
Continue to Cracow
After dinner, enjoy a walking tour of Cracow Old Town
Overnight: Cracow

Thursday June 5, 2008
Drive to Oswiecim, to the biggest death camp ever, Aushwitz-Birkenau.
Tour Auschwitz 2, the larger of the two camps, to view the ruins of the Crematoria and Gas Chambers, and then continue to State Museum at Auschwitz 1.
After the tour, we will hold a ceremony ("Every Person has a Name")
Return to Cracow
Meet with Paulina-one of the Righteous among the Nations
Overnight: Cracow

Friday, June 6, 2008
Start the day exploring the Jewish Quarter Kaziemiez, and then on to the ghetto area
Before leaving Cracow, visit Schindler's factory and Plasow death camp.
Drive to Warsaw and prepare for Shabbat.
After praying at Nozyk Synagogue will have a Shabbat Dinner and meeting

Saturday, June 7, 2008
After Shabbat Services, we will follow Memory Lane from Transportation Square (Umschlag Platz) to the Monument to the Heroes of the Warszawa Ghetto (Rapoport Memorial) where we will have the final ceremony.
Enjoy a late lunch and rest followed by closing session
After dinner, depart for the airport for your flight to Israel

Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport
Head to hotel Neve Ilan for Breakfast
After breakfast Ascend to Jerusalem
Say Shehehianu at a vantage point overlooking Jerusalem (Haas Promenade)
Walk the Old City Wall promenade from Jaffa Gate to Zion Gate. Continue to the top of Mount Zion; visit King David's Tomb - founder of the City of Peace.
Visit the newly excavated City of David and get wet while walking through Hezekiah Tunnel
In the evening, Tikun Shavuot at the Wall

Walk through Jaffa Street and Ben Yehuda Pedestrian Street to David Citadel. From atop Fazael Tower view the Old City of Jerusalem and visit the various City of Peace Models.
Tour the Jewish Quarter to see the Broad Wall, the Cardo, a Roman shopping street still active today, and the Southern Wall Excavations
In the evening enjoy the Time Elevator

Head north to Tel Yizrael to view the Gilboa Mountain and the Jeezrael Valley - and see how Biblical stories mesh with the lay of the land
Onward to the ancient city of Beit She'an - leveled by an earthquake and extensively reconstructed
Pause for a refreshing swim in the Sachne
Ascend the Golan and head to Mt. Bental to look deep into Syria and to view the ghost town of Kuneitra
View the Hula Valley at Mitzpe Gadot and hear about Israel's master spy, Eli Cohen
Overnight: A Kibbutz in the North

Drive to tour Zfat - the City of Mystical Judaism (Kabbalah). Explore the narrow alleyways lined with ancient synagogues and artists' galleries.
Then to the Manara Cliffs - ascend by cable car and enjoy view and the many activities on your way down including a rappelling adventure
Then a kayaking adventure on the Jordan River
Overnight: A Kibbutz in the North

Drive across the Galilee to spend the morning with Israeli friends at the Reali School in Haifa
Enjoy a traditional Druze lunch and home hospitality in the village of Ossafiyah
Continue to Tel Aviv to explore the Nahalat Binyamin Pedestrian Mall and trendy Shenkin St.

Drive to Kiryat Malachi and meet with Israeli peers for a Tikun Olam activity (subject to confirmation)
Return to Jerusalem and visit the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls housed in the dramatic Shrine of the Book and to view the model of Jerusalem as it was in the Second Temple Period.
Then explore the Western Wall Tunnels running under the Old City (Subject to confirmation)
In the evening, a preparatory session on the Holocaust

Visit Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial fro a program to include a Yizkor Service and a meeting with a survivor as well as a tour of Yad Vashem.
