Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport (1:50 PM) and meet your Tour Educator
Ascend to Jerusalem
Start the day at the Hass Promenade to say Shehehianu at this vantage point overlooking the Old City.
Enjoy a spiritual visit to the Western Wall and explore the Rabbinical Tunnels that stretch under the Old City (pending confirmation).

Wednesday, December 20, 2006 (B, D)
Start the day with a visit to the David Citadel museum. View the Old city from top of Fazael Tower. Continue to visit the model of Jerusalem as it was in the Second Temple Period and the 19th Century model (It is very important to visit the site before entering the city for it provides a better understanding once inside the city)
Walk the Old City Wall Promenade from Jaffa Gate to Zion Gate. Then head to Mt Zion, view the Old City and visit King David's tomb founder of the city
Enter the Jewish Quarter through the Zion Gate as generations of Jewish Warriors have.
Explore the Jewish Quarter taking in highlights such as the Cardo, the Broad Wall (First Temple period).
Visit David City, visit the new excavations and explore Hezekiah Tunnel. Visit the Southern Wall excavations.

Thursday, December 21, 2006 (B, L)
Drive to Mamshit to visit a Bedouin Tent followed by a camel ride.
Enjoy a chance to swim (float) in the Dead Sea and lunch
Drive to ascend Massada by cable car
Tour this site that was the last sovereign Jewish land for 2000 years until the rebirth of the State of Israel. Descend via the Cable Car

Friday, December 22, 2006 (B, Shabbat Dinner)
In the morning, visit Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Six Million Jews murdered in the Second World War
Continue to Mt. Herzel to the gravesites of Herzel, Golda Meir and Yitzhak Rabin
Drive to Mount of Olives to pay tribute to Henrietta Sold, founder of Hadassah who is buried on the slopes of Mount of Olives
See the city prepare for Shabbat
Kabbalat Shabbat at Kol Haneshama

Start the day with a visit to Hadassah Hospital
Depart Jerusalem to drive north to Visit Beit Alfa ancient synagogue
Enjoy a visit to the ancient city of Beit Shean, at the foot of Mount Gilboa while learning about King Saul last battle with the Philistines. Continue to Gesher to experience the hardship of Israeli new settlers from Pre-statehood times.
Dinner and overnight at a Kibbutz on the shores of the Sea of Galilee

Ascend the Golan Heights visit the 8th Century village of Katzrin with its ancient synagogue. Continue to the top of Mt. Bental to view the Golan Heights and deep into Syria and the ghost town of Kuneitra
Head north to enjoy a short nature hike along the Dan River followed by a visit to one of Israel's Military outposts and the northern town of Metula.
View the Hula Valley from Mitzpe Gadot and hear about Israel's top spy, Eli Cohen.
Visit Tiberias for dinner and onward to bath in Hamat Gader Hot Springs.
Overnight at a Kibbutz by the Sea of Galilee

Tuesday, December 26, 2006 (B)
Drive to Tzfat - city of Mystical Judaism. Explore the narrow alleyways lined with ancient synagogues and artists galleries.
Continue to ascend the Carmel Mountain for a view of the region from the site of Muraka, traditionally believed to be the site where the prophet Elijah contested the Ba'al prophets.
(Optional lunch at a Druze Village or if possible at the youth village)
Continue to visit the Youth Village of Meir Shfeya
Visit the Herodean harbor city of Caesarea (time permitting)

Morning at leisure or depart Tel Aviv to Herzelia where you will meet with one of Hadassah Israel unique project with battered women.
Return to Tel Aviv for a Leisure City tour of Tel Aviv and Jaffa, pause at Rabin Square to remember and talk about peace
Late check out and festive farewell dinner
Head to Ben Gurion Airport
