Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport (5:25pm) and meet your Tour Educator
Ascend to Jerusalem to say Shehehianu at a vantage point overlooking the Old City

Thursday, May 01, 2008
Start the day with a visit to the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and view the Second Temple Jerusalem Model. Walk the Old City Wall promenade from Jaffa Gate to Zion Gate. Continue to the top of Mount Zion; visit King David's Tomb - founder of the City of Peace.
Enter the Old City via Zion Gate the same way Israeli warriors entered during the War of Independence and during the Six Days War.
Visit the newly excavated City of David and get wet while walking through Hezekiah Tunnel
This evening, take a ride on the Time Elevator to learn more of Jerusalem's 3000 years of history.

Start the day with a donkey ride and Hike on the Arbel cliffs.
Then prepare to get wet as you enjoy a kayaking adventure on the Jordan River
Enjoy Zip Line activity into the Jordan River
Drive to Tiberias to visit the tombs of Rambam and Rabbi Akiva
Overnight: Tzfat or a Kibbutz in the Galilee

In the morning head to Tzippori (Sephoris), once seat of the Sanhedrin. View the magnificent mosaics including the Mona Lisa of the Galilee.
Onward to the Druze Village of Ossafiyah for a traditional Druze Meal
Early check in at the hotel
In the evening, participate in a Yom Ha'Zicharon ceremony at the Naval Training base in Haifa

Depart Haifa to Atlit British detention camp, where they held Jewish "illegal" immigrants after World War II.
Drive to Tel Azeka and view the Valley Ella, David and Goliath's battle ground
Continue the day with a "hands on" experience with the past as you participate in an Archeological Dig (pending confirmation). Explore the unique Bell Caves in Beit Guvrin including the Columbarium - all carved from stone.
Head to Tel Aviv. Enjoy an afternoon city tour and pause at Rabin Square to remember.
Enjoy a special tour of Old Jaffa to hear about Jonah and the Whale, Andromeda and Napoleon, all whom have a relationship with the city.
Prepare to join the People of Israel in their celebration of Yom Ha'atzmaut

Thursday, May 08, 2008
Depart Tel Aviv and ascend Massada for a tour of the site, hearing tales of Herod and the Zealots who chose death over slavery at the hands of the Romans
Then swim (float) in the Dead Sea
Head to Ein Gedi for a hike to the waterfall
Head into the Judean Desert to Eretz Bereshit for a camel trek followed by a Hafla (feast).

Start the day with a visit at Yad Vashem, Holocaust Memorial site for a program
Continue to Mount Herzl for a ceremony by the graves of Herzl, Rabin and others.
Enter the Old City and explore the Jewish Quarter including the Cardo – an ancient shopping mall where you can still shop today, the Broad Wall, the Burnt House (program on Sinat Hinam – pending confirmation) and the Southern Wall Excavations
Prepare for Shabbat
