Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport and meet your Tour Educator (5:20PM)
Drive to Tel Aviv to and Enjoy a special tour of Old Jaffa in the evening to hear about Jonah and the Whale, Andromeda and Napoleon, all whom have a relationship with the city.

Friday, May 14, 2010 - To be a free people in our own land
09:00AM - Start the day with a visit to Independence Hall, where the State of Israel was born
11:30AM - Join the Palmach (pre-statehood army) "virtually" at the Palmach Museum
2:30PM - Onward to the Druze Village of Ossafiyah for a traditional Druze Meal and Hospitality.

Saturday, May 15, 2010 - Shabbat in Tzfat
Parashat Bamidbar (Numbers 1:1-4:20)
In the Sinai Desert, G-d says to conduct a census of the twelve tribes of Israel. Moses counts 603,550 men of draftable age (20 to 60 years); the tribe of Levi, numbering 22,300 males age one month and older, is counted separately. The Levites are to serve in the Sanctuary, replacing the firstborn, whose number they approximated, who were disqualified when they participated in the worshipping of the Golden Calf. The 273 firstborn who lacked a Levite to replace them had to pay a five-shekel "ransom" to redeem themselves

9:00AM - Continue to a Bedouin Camp for Camel Ride,
11:00 AM - Ascend Massada through the Roman ramp for a tour of the site, hearing tales of Herod and the Zealots who chose death over slavery at the hands of the Romans
1:00PM swim (float) and have Lunch in a private beach of the Dead Sea.
4:00PM - Ascend to Jerusalem via the Judean Desert and say Shehehianu at a vantage point overlooking the Old City
Tour the narrow alleys of the Nachla'ot neighborhood and Participate in Tikun Shavuot early morning prayers in one of the many small neighborhood synagogues there.

Wednesday, May 19, 2010 - Shavuot - A pilgrimage to Jerusalem
Late morning wake up and an early Lunch
1:00 AM - Tour the David Citadel museum View the Old city from top of Phasael Tower. Examine the model of Jerusalem as it was in the Second Temple Period and the 19th Century model.
3:00PM - Walk the Old City Wall promenade from Jaffa Gate to Zion Gate. Visit King David's grave and overlook the western wall and the Temple Mt.
5:30PM - Head back to your Hotel through the Yemin Moshe and Mishkenot Sha'ananim - the first neighborhoods outside the city walls.

4:00 PM - Visit the Kotel for an emotional moment and hide a note for peace in its cracks
5:00PM - Descend the Western Hill to visit the City of David and get wet while walking through Hezekiah Tunnel (pending confirmation)
8:00PM - Explore the mysterious Western Wall Tunnels stretching under the Old City

Parashat Naso (Numbers 4:21-7:89)
Completing the head-count of the Children of Israel taken in the Sinai Desert, a total of 8,580 Levite men between the ages of 30 and 50 are counted in a tally of those who will be doing the actual work of transporting the Tabernacle.
G-d communicates to Moses the law of the "Sotah", the wayward wife suspected of unfaithfulness to her husband. Also given is the law of the Nazir who forswears wine, lets his or her hair grow long, and is forbidden to become contaminated through contact with a dead body. Aaron and his descendents the Kohanim are instructed on how to bless the people of Israel.
The leaders of the twelve tribes of Israel each bring their offerings for the inauguration of the altar. Although their gifts are identical, each is brought on a different day and is individually described by the Torah.

Summerize your trip and have a closing session in the Beautiful Sculpture garden of the Israel Museum.
